Artist and designer living in Seattle, WA.
My recent work focuses on figures at rest or in brief retreat. These are studies of how a body modulates exposure and takes up a room. How posture articulates the negotiations between intimacy, autonomy, and care. The room is scaffolding for a body's collapse and repair.
Maintenance is the throughline. Repetitive, unheroic acts building endurance.
I hold a BFA in Fine Art, Purchase College SUNY. Currently in and around Rainier Beach where I live with my partner, Mike, our two children, a dog, two cats, and an immortal guppy.
